PAY: $100,000 – $150,000+(1) + Benefits(2)

Employer is seeking a Radio Frequency (RF) Engineer for Full-Time contract employment in Albuquerque, NM.  The RF Engineer will provide Electronic Warfare and Missile Range support for the client’s Directed Energy and Mobile Range programs. Open billets are available for a range of experience levels. Candidate must be willing to relocate (relocation assistance is provided).

JOB DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

– Design and test RF components and antennas
– Provide technical support the Directed Energy & Mobile Range programs
– Integrate directed energy weapons on modern combat platforms
– Provide technical support for proposal activities
– Develop task level requirements derived from system level requirements

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS (do not apply if you do not meet ALL of the following):

– Candidate must possess an active DoD SECRET clearance (if you do not possess an active clearance, only extremely strong candidates will be considered for sponsorship)
– Must be a US Citizen
– Must have a Bachelor’s of Science (B.S.) degree in Electrical Engineering or related discipline
– Broad range of knowledge and experience in RF tracking, communication, and antenna design
– Experience with telemetry systems, flight systems, signal processing, power management and conditioning, thermal and electrical loading, and test and diagnostics
– Possess experience with system modeling, analysis, tuning, and design aspects relative to precision optical and RF tracking systems
– Has experience using lab and field test equipment such as: Oscilloscopes, Network Analyzers, Spectrum Analyzers, and Signal Generators
– Possesses at least 6 years of prior relevant experience

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS (meeting these qualifications will determine Candidate’s level of experience & compensation):

– Master’s of Science (M.S.) degree in Electrical Engineering or related engineering discipline
– Experienced with schematic capture, SPICE simulation, and layout of mixed signal and/or power supply Circuit Card Assemblies
– Proficient in board-to-system level-system architecture
– Proficient in schematic capture and CCA design
– Experienced with MATLAB and Simulink modeling tools
– Understands and has experience with FAA standards and regulations and military Test Readiness Levels (TRLs)
– Experience in end-to-end optical tracking system modeling to include gimbal performance, network latency constraints, and operator feedback test & integration
– Cost and schedule management experience
