JOB LOCATION: California (Beale AFB)
START DATE: Immediate
PAY: $100,000 – $135,000(1) + Benefits(2)
Employment Type: F/T Employee (W-2)
(1) Pay rate is determined by Candidate’s level of experience

Employer is seeking a Network Engineer for Full-Time contract employment at Beale AFB (California). The Network Engineer will be exposed to cutting edge technology, will be helping to stand up a new site and systems, and will be expected to hit the ground running. Contract term is 6 months with the potential to convert to F/T Employee (W-2) status after completing the initial contract term. Candidate must be willing to relocate (relocation assistance will be offered to very strong candidates).
JOB DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
– Will be standing up a brand new site and performing system install, configuration, management, updates, and maintenance with cutting edge technology
– Perform on-site network and system support duties for the mission control center which will operate 24/7
– Monitor anomalous activity, create and review reports, and support anomaly resolution
– Routing, firewall management and ensure correct function of network switches and routers
– Support efforts for network enhancements, replacement of obsolete equipment, incident response, configuration management, and develop/maintain documentation and diagrams
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS (do not apply if you do not meet ALL of the following):
– Candidate MUST possess an active TS/SCI clearance
– Candidate must possess active CompTIA Security+ certification or higher (or have the ability to quickly obtain certification)
– Must be a US Citizen
– Be able to pass a background check for entry into a Special Access Program (SAP)
– Possesses Cisco/Juniper experience (90/10)
– Must have prior experience with Testing/Integration
– Knowledgeable and experienced with data storage (HPE 3PAR preferred)
– Has experience with VMWare Virtual Distributed Switching
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
– Experienced at debugging complex systems
– IV & V testing experience
– Experience with or understanding of MongoDB
– Possesses Multi-domain and Cross-domain experience
– Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Assurance, Information Systems or equivalent
