JOB LOCATION: Arabian Sea to Gulf of Thailand
START DATE: Immediate
PAY: $450-$550 per day(1)
Employment Type: Part-Time Contractor

Employer is a Maritime Security company seeking armed security professionals to secure cargo vessels for a US Maritime Shipping Company traveling between various ports in western India to ports in Thailand. These are competitive billets and those with prior maritime security experience (who also meet all of the minimum qualifications) will be given priority consideration above other candidates. This is an indefinite contract so even if billets fill up on a current rotation, qualified candidates may be considered for future rotations or for other cargo ships.
JOB DESCRIPTION:
– Rotation: 3 weeks on 3 weeks off
– Armed security professional(s) will work 12 hour shifts 7 days a week for length of rotation
– Other job details will be disclosed by the employer if selected for an interview
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS (please do not apply if you do not meet ALL of the following):
– Must possess current STCW95
– DD-214 with Honorable Discharge
– Active TWIC card
– Must have valid US passport with a minimum of 12 months until expiration
– Prior US military from a combat arms MOS or SOF Marines, Navy, Army, and Coast Guard who operated in amphibious environments
– Must be physically fit and able to pass a physical fitness test
– Must be able to occasionally run or sprint, regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move more than 100 pounds
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
– Prefer SEAL’s, Force, or Recon Marines
– Experience with VTOL UAV’s
– Have prior maritime security experience for a maritime shipping company
