JOB LOCATION:  Atlanta, Georgia (occasional travel required)
START DATE: IMMEDIATE
PAY: $500 per day + all expenses covered(1)

Employment Type: F/T long-term
Rotation:  28 days on, 28 days off


(1) covered expenses include flights, lodging, meals, vehicles, fuel, and other operational equipment needed to support the mission


Employer is seeking seasoned Executive Protection Agents for a full-time long-term protection detail in the Atlanta, Georgia area.  Occasional domestic and international travel with the Client on private aircraft will be required as well.  Only highly experienced candidates who possess at least 5+ years of military experience (preferably SOF background) and experience in executive protection operations as a solo practitioner will be considered for this role – no exceptions.

PLEASE NOTE: If you do not have extensive prior experience protecting ultra high net worth clients in a solo practitioner capacity, you will not be competitive.  Only competitive candidates will be contacted for further vetting.

JOB DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: 

– Perform mobile and static low-profile / covert protection and counter surveillance in a solo practitioner capacity or as part of a small protection detail
– Perform security driver duties in support of the Client
– Ensure vehicles are fully serviced, washed, fueled, and standing by for all operational requirements
– Work closely with and maintain communications with the on site residential security agents
– Conduct advance work and and report on gathered intelligence
– Travel in support of protective operations, both domestically and internationally
– Coordinate logistics with Client’s private aircraft pilots and FBOs
– Liaise with local authorities when applicable emergency situations arise
– OPSEC and COMSEC should be practiced throughout the entire length of the contract
– Ultimate flexibility is required based on client needs
– Must be available to work weekends, late hours and holidays
– Conduct Risk, Threat, and Vulnerability Assessments on client’s residences / offices
– Develop and maintain Emergency Response action plans for risks and threats identified

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS (do not apply without meeting these minimum qualification requirements):

– Must have 5+ years experience from the US military (preferably former SOF – see preferred qualifications below) with at least 1 year of overseas combat experience
– Have a strong working knowledge and experience in close protection operations in a solo practitioner capacity
– Must have prior experience providing executive protection for ultra high net worth individuals (UHNWI)
– Prior experience working with FBOs
– Have prior experience conducting surveillance / counter surveillance operations within the private security, private military, or military sectors
– Have prior experience conducting advance operations in support of private security protection details
– Have strong working knowledge of technology-based protective security applications
– Candidate must be very physically fit and maintain a clean and sharp appearance
– Pass a background check (no misdemeanors, felonies or other criminal charges)
– Pass pre-employment drug screening and periodic, random drug screenings throughout employment
– Possess a high-degree of professionalism, responsibility and maturity
– Must be able to brief, persuade, and instruct others on security requirements and policies
– Possess a current US Passport
– Must have a valid US driver’s license with a clean driving record

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

Client has a strong preference to select candidates with prior backgrounds in a SOF MOS
– Possess some working knowledge of cybersecurity threats and countermeasures
– Candidates that possess active First Responder or EMT certifications
– Possess an armed guard card in the state of Georgia

– Possess prior experience as a security driver – specifically driving a client as part of a private security detail or PSD team
– Prior attendance of a recognized Executive Protection Course (i.e. ESI, EPI, Oatman, PFC, ITG4, TFTT)
– Attended an industry-recognized vehicle dynamics or security driving course (i.e. Summit Point BSR, Tony Scotti, ESI, EPI, O’Gara, Blackwater, etc.)
