DURATION: 2 Days, plus follow-on
PAY: $500 – $600 / day(1) + Expenses
Employment Type: P/T Contractor
Rotation: intermittent and at-will of client
(1) Pay rate is dependent on the assigned role within the Executive Protection team
Employer is a private US security company seeking a seasoned male and or female Executive Protection Agent and EP Driver for a small executive protection team in Washington, D.C. The selected agent will be providing close protection and or protective counter surveillance of client and his immediate family. Movements throughout NOVA, DC, and Maryland will be daily. Candidates who already reside in the Washington DC area and meet all other minimum and preferred qualifications in the sections below will be prioritized for preferential consideration in the selection process.
JOB DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
– Perform both mobile and static low-profile close protection services to client and family with the ability to shift into a protective counter surveillance role when needed
– Conduct advance work identifying routes and venues when time permits
– Practice OPSEC and COMSEC with sensitive and confidential material
– Liaise with local authorities when applicable emergency situations arise
– Flex and adapt as needed based on client needs
– Smoking, vaping, or other tobacco use is prohibited
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS (do not apply without meeting these minimum qualification requirements):
– US Citizens only
– Must live within 25 miles of Washington DC and have a strong knowledge of the area
– Candidates who have experience providing executive protection for ultra high net worth individuals (UHNWI), dignitaries, or other high profile clients
– Physically fit / maintain a clean and sharp appearance
– Proactive and possess a high-degree of professionalism, responsibility and maturity
– Valid US driver’s license with a clean driving record
– Must be able to pass a background check (no misdemeanors, felonies or other criminal charges)
– Must be smoke and drug free
– Natively fluent in English (speaking, reading, writing, comprehension)
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
– Former US Secret Service highly desired
– Candidates with prior backgrounds in a SOF or combat arms MOS are highly desired
– Candidates with prior law enforcement backgrounds with H.R. 218 are highly desired
– Prior law enforcement experience in Washington DC is a plus
– Prior experience working with FBO’s, private aircraft, and pilots
– First aid certified (BLS/ AED)
– Completion of advanced driving / vehicle dynamics course
– Prior attendance of a recognized Executive Protection Course (i.e. ESI, EPI, Oatman, PFC, ITG4, TFTT)
