JOB LOCATION: Indianapolis, Indiana (occasional travel required)

PAY: $120,000 per year + excellent benefits package(1)

Employer is an Indianapolis, IN (US) company that is seeking a seasoned Close Protection Agent for full-time, long-term coverage of the company’s CEO. Occasional domestic and international travel with the Principal on private aircraft will be required as well. Only highly experienced candidates who possess at least 5+ years of military and/or law enforcement and experience in protective operations will be considered for this role – no exceptions.
NOTE: If you do not have extensive prior experience protecting ultra high net worth clients in a solo practitioner capacity, you will not be competitive. Only competitive candidates will be contacted for further vetting.
JOB DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
– Perform mobile and static low-profile / covert protection and counter surveillance in a solo practitioner capacity
– Perform security driver duties in support of the Principal
– Conduct advance work and and report on gathered intelligence
– Travel in support of protective operations, both domestically and internationally
– Coordinate logistics with Principal’s private aircraft pilots and FBOs
– Liaise with local authorities when applicable emergency situations arise
– Work with the corporate head of security to coordinate all movements and security of the Principal at public events
– Practice OPSEC and COMSEC with sensitive and confidential material
– Flex and adapt as needed based on client needs
– Work weekends, late hours and holidays
– Conduct vehicle checks to include service, wash, and fuel
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS (do not apply without meeting these minimum qualification requirements):
– Must have 5+ years combined experience from either military and/or law enforcement with at least 1 year of overseas combat experience
– Have a strong working knowledge and experience in close protection operations in a solo practitioner capacity
– Must have prior experience providing executive protection for ultra high net worth individuals (UHNWI)
– Possess a current License to Carry a Handgun (LTCH) in the state of Indiana (or possess a license to carry in a state that shares reciprocity with the state of Indiana)
– Prior experience working with FBOs
– Have strong working knowledge of technology-based protective security applications
– Candidate must be very physically fit and maintain a clean and sharp appearance
– Pass a background check (no misdemeanors, felonies or other criminal charges)
– Pass pre-employment drug screening and periodic, random drug screenings throughout employment
– Possess a high-degree of professionalism, responsibility and maturity
– Must be able to brief, persuade, and instruct others on security requirements and policies
– Possess a current US Passport
– Must have a valid US driver’s license with a clean driving record
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
– Candidates with prior backgrounds in a SOF or combat arms MOS are highly desired
– Possess some working knowledge of cybersecurity threats and countermeasures
– Candidates that possess active First Responder or EMT certifications
– Have prior experience conducting surveillance / counter surveillance operations within the private security, private military, or military sectors
– Have prior experience conducting advance operations in support of private security protection details
– Possess prior experience as a security driver – specifically driving a client as part of a private security detail or PSD team
– Prior attendance of a recognized Executive Protection Course (i.e. ESI, EPI, Oatman, PFC, ITG4, TFTT)
– Attended an industry-recognized vehicle dynamics or security driving course (i.e. Summit Point BSR, Tony Scotti, ESI, EPI, O’Gara, Blackwater, etc.)
