JOB LOCATION: West Africa (Ghana)
START DATE: Rolling Basis; Immediate availability preferred
PAY: $1,100 / day (USD) + Expenses

A high-net-worth U.S. individual requires a Tier 1-level PSD Team based out of Accra, Ghana. This role involves comprehensive personal security operations for an executive conducting high-level engagements and logistical coordination around various sites within Ghana.
You will join a small, vetted security detail tasked with securing the client across a range of urban and remote settings. The assignment includes advance operations, secure and discreet movement coordination, close protection operations, and at times, residential security when the Principal is in-country.
All qualified candidates must pass an operational vetting interview and assessment. Due to the nature of this assignment, only qualified, shortlisted candidates will be contacted.
JOB DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
– Perform close protection duties in dynamic, high-threat regions with minimal support
– Conduct route reconnaissance, venue assessments, and residential security planning
– Maintain secure comms (including multi-platform encrypted communications)
– Liaise with local security liaisons, diplomatic contacts, and vetted regional logistics partners to ensure freedom of movement and operational continuity
– Provide situational threat analysis based on evolving conditions and intelligence
– Support low-visibility surveillance and SD/CS operations when required
– Coordinate with trusted partners on asset transport and convoy planning under challenging and discreet conditions
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS (do not apply without meeting these minimum qualification requirements):
– Prior US military special operations (former US Army 3rd SFG strongly preferred)
– Must have operational security experience in Ghana or West Africa within the past 5 years
– Have familiarity with regional paramilitary threat actors and criminal networks
– Demonstrated ability to operate independently with minimal oversight
– Proven experience working with or training Ghanaian military / security forces
– High maturity level and history of confidential, sensitive work
– Valid US passport with at least 6 months validity
– Able to deploy within 2 weeks
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
– Prior EP/PSD contract work with U.S. government or diplomatic personnel
– Working knowledge of local Ghanaian dialects
– Experience with secure communications and tracking equipment
