JOB LOCATION: Northern Virginia

PAY: $150,000 / year
Employment Type: F/T Contractor (1099)
Employer is a private US client who is seeking a full-time Female Close Protection Agent to augment an existing Executive Protection Team. The female agent will be assigned as a close protection agent to a female CEO and her young child. Employer is seeking experienced female EP agents who are US citizens and already reside in the Northern Virginia / DMV region.
JOB DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
– Perform static and mobile low-profile protection and counter surveillance to a female Principal and her young child
– Perform security driver duties in support of the Principal
– Coordinate activities and movement while part of a larger EP detail
– Travel in support of protective operations, both domestically and internationally
– Liaise with local authorities when applicable emergency situations arise
– Practice OPSEC and COMSEC with sensitive and confidential material
– Perform ad hoc duties based on client needs
– Work weekends, late hours and holidays
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS (do not apply without meeting these minimum qualification requirements):
– Must have 5+ years combined experience from either military and/or law enforcement with at least 1 year of executive protection experience
– Possess a concealed handgun carry license for the state of Virginia, Maryland, or the District of Columbia; or is H.R. 218 qualified
– Have experience with caring for young children (infant/toddler-aged)
– Candidate must be physically fit and be able to easily blend in during social settings with the Principal
– Pass a background check (no misdemeanors, felonies or other criminal charges)
– Pass pre-employment drug screening and periodic, random drug screenings throughout employment
– Possess a high-degree of professionalism, responsibility and maturity
– Possess a current US Passport
– Must have a valid US driver’s license with a clean driving record
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
– Female candidates who are H.R. 218 qualified
– Have prior experience conducting surveillance / counter surveillance operations within the private security, private military, or military sectors
– Have prior experience conducting advance operations in support of private security protection details
– Possess prior experience as a security driver – specifically driving a client as part of a private security detail or PSD team
– Prior attendance of a recognized Executive Protection Course (i.e. ESI, EPI, Oatman, PFC, ITG4, TFTT)
– Attended an industry-recognized vehicle dynamics or security driving course (i.e. Summit Point BSR, Tony Scotti, ESI, EPI, O’Gara, Blackwater, etc.)
