JOB LOCATION: Iraq
START DATE: Immediate
PAY: $3,664 / Week(1) + Benefits(2)
ROTATION: 77 days-on / 77 days-off (3)
(1) Contractors will be paid a daily rate of $550 / Day (6 days per week) + Per Diem at $364 / week (total monetary compensation equates to $3,664 / week)
(2) Benefits include Medical, Dental, Basic Life Insurance / AD&D, 401(k) and other voluntary benefit options
(3) Pay Rates apply while on rotation in-country only; time-off rotation is unpaid
Employer is seeking experienced Instructors in overseas locations for full-time contract work in Iraq; Candidates must have prior experience training Security Contractor personnel and integrating training for Local Nationals (LNs). Please read the minimum qualifications sections thoroughly before applying.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
– Liaison with other training entities involved with the contract and integration of Local Nationals (LNs)
– Serve as a mentor for integrated LN protective security personnel
– Coordinate and conduct in-service training and firearms re-qualifications for contract personnel
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS (do NOT apply if you do not meet ALL of the following requirements):
1. Experience & Training Requirements:
– Must possess a minimum of two (2) years experience as an instructor in a security field
– Must possess a minimum of one (1) year of experience as a firearms instructor (as a primary duty, not collateral)
– Must possess a minimum of five (5) years experience in protective security assignments. Additionally:
* A minimum of two (2) years of this experience must have been in a supervisory or lead capacity
* A minimum of six (6) months of this experience must have been in protective security under a WPS, WPPS, or WPS II contract
– Must be able to pass a physical fitness agility test and maintain that fitness level for the duration of his/her service on the task order
– Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screening; position is also subject to random drug screening throughout the course of employment
2. Other Mandatory Requirements:
– Must be a U.S. Citizen
– Must have a valid US passport
– Must have a valid US issued driver’s license
– MUST have an honorable discharge characterization on your DD-214
– Must be able to pass a detailed background investigation and be able to obtain and maintain a DoS SECRET clearance
– Must be able to pass pre-employment drug screening; position is also subject to random drug screening throughout the course of employment
– Must be able to qualify and maintain weapons qualification as outlined in the contract with the Glock-19, M4, M203, M240, M249, and Remington 870 shotgun
– Must be able to pass a physical fitness test and maintain that fitness level for the duration of his/her service on the task order
– Must be able to successfully complete the PSS and BFFOC training requirements
– Must be able to pass a medical physical approving you for overseas work
– Must be able to travel to and/or work in an austere, hostile or remote location
– Must be fluent in English (reading, writing, speaking and comprehension)
OTHER PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
– Preferred Candidates have level three (intermediate) or higher proficiency in Arabic (any dialect is permissible; Kurdish is preferred)
