JOB LOCATION: Afghanistan (Mazar-I-Sharif, Kandahar, and Bagram)
START DATE: Immediate upon successful completion of 1-week CRC train-up
PAY: $60,000 per year(1)+ medical(2)+ travel(3)
Employment Type: Full Time Contractor (1099)
Rotation: 4 months on / 1 month off
(1) Pay rate while boots on ground, in country is $200 per day. Upon successful completion of CRC train-up, a $100 per day stipend will be paid until boots on ground, in country.
(2) All pre-deployment medical requirements prior to CRC shall be covered and in country medical is provided for contractor only
(3) For contractor R&R, only the first round-trip flight cost will be covered by employer
Employer is a US Government contractor looking for Armed Guards who will perform internal guard services in Afghanistan. Duties include, but are not limited to, vehicle and personnel entry control points, perimeter towers, internal foot patrols and armed & unarmed escort guard services. Armed Guards shall possess the following qualifications:
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS (do not apply if you do not meet ALL of the following):
– Must possess at least 5 years of US military experience –OR– at least 5 years of US law enforcement experience verifiable by service records
– Must have received an honorable discharge as verified by a form DD-214 (U.S. Military); Personnel who have been discharged with characterization of “General under other than honorable’, “Bad Conduct”, or “Dishonorable” are disqualified from this position
– Be able to qualify on primary U.S. military weapons and crew-served weapons
– Must be able to perform internal security guard services, at any potential internal security posting for up to 12 hours, often in austere conditions to include extreme heat, cold, wind, dust, rain or snow, while donning all required personal protective gear
– Must be a minimum 25 years of age
– Possess a valid US Passport
– Fluent in English (speaking, reading, writing and comprehension)
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
– Possess an active SECRET security clearance (any issuing authority will be accepted, but DoD is preferred)
– Candidates with a combat arms MOS background
