PAY: $1,000/day + expenses
Employment Type: Part-Time Contractor (1099)
Contract Length: 3 days
Schedule: 12 hours per day
Client is an ultra-high net worth individual who is in need of an Armed Protective Counter Surveillance Agent at a venue in New York City. This is a short-term assignment but may evolve into a long-term position for the right candidate. Ideal candidate has both prior military and law enforcement experience with appropriate licenses to provide armed security within NYC. Read all minimum and preferred qualifications before applying. This is a highly-competitive position.
JOB DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
– Advance venue location, building, and coordinate with building manager or director of security in advance of client arrival.
– Client will be at venue for 9-10 hours per day, maybe longer. Agent should provide protective counter surveillance prior to the client’s arrival each day.
– Provide protective counter surveillance to identify physical or surveillance threats against client.
– Counter surveillance will be conducted from both mobile and static positions.
– React to threats to protect client in accordance with employer guidelines.
– While client is at place of business counter surveillance will continue to identify if threats are tracking client with eyes on client within the venue.
– Must have proper dress attire and able to blend into any environment with various outfits from workout gear, casual, and business casual all at a moment’s notice.
– Agent must have pistol, low pro armor, and first aid medical equipment.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
– Live in NYC or have prior executive protection experience in NYC
– Possess a MINIMUM of 5 years of experience as an Executive Protection Agent
– Candidates must either be LEOSA (H.R. 218) qualified -OR- possess a New York State-Issued Armed Guard Registration Card
– Possess a current US Passport
– Valid US driver’s license with a clean driving record
– Must be able to pass a background check (no misdemeanors, felonies or other criminal charges)
– Must be smoke and drug free
– Proactive, high-degree of professionalism, responsibility and maturity
– Natively fluent in English (speaking, reading, writing, comprehension)
– Physically fit / maintain a clean and sharp appearance
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
– Currently reside in NYC
– Former Federal LE a plus
– Former US Military SOF or combat arms MOS with surveillance backgrounds or training a plus
– First aid certified (BLS/ AED)
