Job Description
JOB LOCATION: Iraq
PAY: $300 – $350 per day
Rotation: 60-days-on / 30-days-off
Job Duties:
– On-site supervision of large groups of guards or specific sectors or functions of the guard program
– Assists the armed guard commander in managing and directing guard operations on a day-to-day basis under direction from DS/RSO
– Assists the armed guard commander to plan, manage, and evaluate guard force operations
– Ensures that all guard personnel are aware of and abide by all Post and general orders
Minimum Qualifications:
– Must be able to obtain and maintain a US personnel security clearance/public trust certification
– US citizenship required
– US Passport and US State Driver’s License required
– Must possess a minimum of ten (10) years of experience as a military officer or NCO (at US E-6 or above or equivalent), or equivalent law enforcement/armed commercial guard force supervisory experience
– Military discharge must be Honorable
– Experience must include physical security, access control, and force protection
Additional Requirements:
– Attend and successfully complete the applicable guard training course
– Attend and successfully complete the supervisor training course
– Must qualify with the Glock-19, M4, M240, M249, and Remington 870 shotgun, re-qualifying as required
– Complete a Physical Readiness Test at the 65% performance level, and maintain that fitness level for the duration of his/her service
– Possess no impediments to traveling overseas to and within countries that are considered dangerous or unhealthy in general, or to the country or countries assigned
