JOB LOCATION: Houston, TX
START DATE: Immediate
PAY: $600/day

Rotation: 90-days-on / 90-days-off
Employment Type: F/T Contract (1099)


A U.S.-based private security firm is seeking experienced Executive Protection specialists for ongoing coverage of a Houston-area ultra-high-net-worth principal with significant exposure in the energy sector.  The client has expressed a preference for candidates who understand the cadence of energy-sector leadership and high-visibility business environments. Experience supporting principals with complex travel schedules and dynamic international movement is strongly valued.

This is an immediate integration opportunity with long-term rotational structure. The principal maintains an active domestic and international travel schedule, and the protective posture requires operational maturity, discretion, and structured continuity.

This role is designed for operators who understand that long-term details require discipline, redundancy, and seamless transitions.

ASSIGNMENT OVERVIEW: 

– Principal’s primary residence is in the Houston, TX area
– Approximately 50% travel (domestic and international)
– Armed protective coverage
– Rotational structure as part of a team; daily schedule is 12-hours-on / 12-hours-off, when on rotation
– Mix of residential, mobile, and travel-based protection

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS (do not apply without meeting all minimum qualification requirements):

– 5+ years of prior experience in military, law enforcement, or private military
– Have 3+ years prior private-sector Executive Protection experience with at least 1+ year of experience operating as a Solo Practitioner or AIC
– Experience conducting advance work and site reconnaissance
– Experience operating in a structured protective detail
– Have prior experience with UHNW principals
– Ability to legally carry a firearm in Texas (DPS III or IV license, HR218, or equivalent)
– Have a current US Passport
– Must be a U.S. citizen

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

– Prior military service in U.S. Special Operations units or certain operational LE assignments
– International travel coordination experience
– Spanish language proficiency
– Active Paramedic / EMT-P certification
– Previous professional experience with executives in energy sector
– Already reside within ~50 miles of Houston, Texas
