JOB LOCATION: Chicago, Illinois
START DATE: Immediate
PAY: $120,000 – $130,000(1) / year + Benefits(2)
Employment Type: Full-Time Employee
(1) Pay rate is determined by Candidate’s level of experience
(2) Full time employees are eligible for premier medical/dental/vision, $500,000 life insurance, AD&D, flexible spending account, dependent care account, and paid time off; additionally, will be eligible for 401k with a 6% match after 1 year of consecutive employment
Employer is seeking a Security Director for full-time employment in Chicago, IL. This position is responsible for the coordination and management of all off-site special events for a financial services company.
JOB DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
– Ensure the overall safety and security of designated principals and their property
– Coordinate with external federal and local law enforcement agencies
– Interface with on-site guard force as well as external protective detail
– Coordinate security for external special events and details
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS (do not apply if you do not meet ALL of the following):
– Must possess a Bachelor’s degree or higher (this is NOT a waivable requirement)
– MUST have strong connections with the Chicago Police Department
– Previous law enforcement or corporate security experience
– 20+ years’ experience in any security management and security disciplines
– Excellent written and verbal communication skills
– Must have a strong, proven track record of responding quickly and effectively to a situation
– Must possess a strong ability to form relationships with both internal and external key stakeholders as well as local law enforcement
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
– Advanced degree (Master’s or higher)
– Candidates with law enforcement backgrounds are preferred
