START DATE: Immediate
PAY: $120,000 – $135,000(1) + Benefits(2)
Employment Type: Full-Time Employee
(1) Pay rate is determined by Candidate’s level of experience
(2) Full time employees are eligible for premier medical/dental/vision, $500,000 life insurance, AD&D, flexible spending account, dependent care account, and paid time off. Candidate will be eligible for 401k with a 6% match after 1 year of consecutive employment
Employer is seeking an Open Source Intelligence Manager for Full-Time employment in Chicago, IL. This position is responsible for the collection, analysis, production and dissemination of critical and time-sensitive information relevant to the safety and security of company personnel and the organization’s global assets and operations.
JOB DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
– Maintain and develop a portfolio of threat profiles, activity, and trends from all available sources (open source, Agency feeds, commercial feeds, and dark web)
– Establish a threat modeling framework to identify, classify, prioritize and report on cyber and physical threats using a structured and effective approach
– Manage a global team of 24-hour Security Operations
– Compile and analyze information on threats to the organization
– Make recommendations based upon suspected or known context and draw insights and conclusions on the relative threat to the firm
– Provide actionable information by disseminating, compiling, and distributing a variety of concise analysis and warning products in written and presentation form to various key internal stakeholders
– Use threat Intel to inform and develop detection strategies
– Provide high-level and technical briefings on vulnerabilities and emerging threats
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS (do not apply if you do not meet ALL of the following):
– Must possess a Bachelor’s degree or higher (this is NOT a waivable requirement)
– Excellent written and verbal communication skills
– Have previous law enforcement, military and/or corporate security experience
– At least 5 years’ experience in any combination of intelligence and security disciplines
– Exposure to intel-driven threat chasing
– Must possess strong critical thinking skills
– Have a proven record of responding quickly and effectively to a situation (examples should be detailed in your resume)
– Must have prior work experience with collecting and interpreting data from multiple sources, documenting the results and providing meaningful analysis
– Must have a strong ability to form relationships with both internal and external key stakeholders
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
– Advanced degree (Master’s or higher)
– Candidates with military and/or law enforcement backgrounds are preferred
