PAY: $480 – $540 / day(1) + Benefits(2) + Paid Training(3)

Employment Type: Full Time Employee


(1) Daily pay rate is subject to experience
(2) After 70 days, employee will be eligible for premier medical/dental/vision, $500,000 life insurance, AD&D, flexible spending account, dependent care account, and paid time off; additionally, will be eligible for 401(k) with a 6% employer match after 1-year of consecutive employment

(3) Specific training / assessment course will be provided upon hire


Client is seeking both male and female Residential Executive Protection Agents for Full-Time Employment to provide support to an existing protective security detail in San Francisco, CA (Bay Area). Candidates must pass an extensive background check and in-house training assessment. Specific training will be provided upon hire. This is an excellent opportunity for those with light EP experience to break into a full-time EP job with formal training.

JOB DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

– Perform security / protective driving assignments; Candidate must possess familiarity of the SF Bay area
– Ensure the overall safety and security of designated principals and their property
– Travel in support of protective operations advances
– Conduct protective advance site surveys
– Maintain clear, concise communication with the detail leader
– Maintain existing Standard Operating Procedures (SOP)
– Demonstrate responsibility for all equipment used in support of the protective operations program (i.e. vehicles, medical supplies, communications devices, etc.)
– Monitor security systems on property to include alarms and cameras; must be competent in identifying security risks
– Control access to property and maintain entry logs for guests and service personnel

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

– Must possess some type of civilian residential executive protection experience (in some cases, certain types of Embassy Guard or residential close protection experience from the military will be accepted)
– Must be willing to work a minimum of thirteen (13) 12-hour shifts (days and/or nights) per month
– Must have or be able to obtain a US Passport
– Must possess a good understanding of the latest technology in security camera systems, use of smartphones, communication and collaboration apps
– Must have excellent customer service skills
– Must be physically fit (and pass an in-house training assessment) and maintain a clean and sharp appearance
– Must be drug and nicotine-free
– Must pass a drug screening and submit to periodic screenings throughout the duration of employment
– Must possess the ability to multitask
– Must be a proactive problem solver with demonstrated capability to work independently

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

Candidates that possess a California BSIS concealed firearms permit
– Possess a CA state-issued BSIS guard card
– Possess a college degree (any type)
– Prior experience providing protective security in a corporate/private and/or family environment
– Prior military / law enforcement or active law enforcement Candidates
– Candidates that possess professional/formal training in defensive tactics, counter surveillance / surveillance detection and possess covert protection experience
– Prior attendance of a recognized EP school (i.e. ESI, EPI, Oatman, PFC, ITG4, TFTT)
– Candidates that possess active First Responder or EMT certifications
– Candidates that are regularly active in outdoor activities such as mountain biking, hiking, ocean sports, etc.
– Candidate must have an understanding of the use of social media collection tools in support of protective intelligence
